Job Description: SmartBTR Private Limited, a National Award-winning, ISO-certified software development company, is seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications according to client specifications. You will work closely with our design and product teams to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and functionally robust websites.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain websites and web applications from concept to completion, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and scalability. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure alignment on project goals and deadlines. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies. - Integrate data from back-end services and databases, working with RESTful APIs and ensuring seamless functionality. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all projects. - Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance. - Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance performance and user experience. - Stay updated with emerging web technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve our products.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects. - Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap. - Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python is a plus. - Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and version control (Git). - Knowledge of web hosting, domain management, and deployment strategies. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have: - Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Magento. - Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
