The Delivery Boy is responsible for delivering products or documents to customers or designated locations in a timely, safe, and professional manner. The role requires efficiency, punctuality, and good customer service skills. The candidate must be familiar with local routes and traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver items as per the assigned schedule.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to the correct address.
Maintain delivery records, obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients.
Communicate with the office or supervisor for updates or delivery instructions.
Follow traffic laws and company safety standards while riding or driving.
Report any delivery issues, delays, or incidents immediately.
Take care of the delivery vehicle (bike/scooter) and ensure it's in good condition.
Collect payments or documents when required and hand them over to the concerned department.
Assist in loading/unloading and handling of goods where required.
Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
