Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with our brand’s voice and message. You should have a strong eye for detail, storytelling skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting or publishing.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Create rough and final cuts.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project scope and vision.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Manage and organize digital assets and maintain backups.
• Ensure consistency in style, branding, and tone across all video content.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio or reel required).
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience with motion graphics, audio editing, and color correction.
• Knowledge of post-production processes and workflows.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Media, Communication, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with animation or 3D graphics.
• Familiarity with social media video formats (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Basic understanding of photography, lighting, and cinematography.
